The Labour Party Lagos mourns the profound loss of Col. Hassan Stan-Labo (Rtd.), an esteemed member of our party in Ward E, Ikeja, and a relentless advocate for a renewed Nigeria. Col. Stan-Labo, who served as the Chief Security Officer for the ObiDatti Campaign Organisation, was a sterling example of dedication and service.
His untimely departure is a significant loss not only to our party but to the nation he served with unwavering passion and integrity.
Col. Stan-Labo was not just a security consultant and defense strategist; he was a visionary whose life’s work was encapsulated in the “FIX NIGERIA NOW!” initiative. This initiative, which he fervently championed, aimed at addressing pivotal national issues and steering Nigeria towards genuine reform and prosperity. His belief in the transformative potential of our country was infectious and deeply motivating.
During the critical periods of the 2023 elections, Col. Stan-Labo’s contributions were palpable. He stood staunchly behind our principal, H.E Peter Obi, embodying the spirit of resilience and hope that defines the Labour Party. His readiness to assist and mobilize support was instrumental in our efforts, and his impact was especially felt across Lagos where he was always just a call away, ready to provide guidance and support.
As we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew him, we reflect on his remarkable life and commitment. Col. Hassan Stan-Labo’s legacy will endure in the ideals he espoused and the lives he touched.
In honor of Col. Stan-Labo and all comrades we have lost, the Labour Party Lagos reaffirms its commitment to continuing the march towards the visionary Nigeria he believed in so passionately. We will strive to uphold the values he exemplified and to achieve the dream of a new Nigeria for which he dedicated so much of his life.
Rest in peace, Col. Hassan Stan-Labo. Your memory and your mission will forever inspire us.
